How Hoobuy shipping works

You need the destination, item types, packed weight and box dimensions. A clothing-only parcel and one containing a battery are different requests, even if their weight is the same.

Compare tracking, weight and size limits, billing rules and optional cover alongside the quote. A delivery estimate is a planning range, not a deadline guarantee.

How to use the weight calculator

This calculator compares actual weight with length × width × height ÷ divisor. The starting values are an example: 40 × 30 × 20 cm divided by 6,000 gives 4 kg, compared with 1 kg actual weight.

It calculates weights only. It does not fetch a rate or apply a route’s minimum charge, rounding, surcharges or actual-weight-only policy. Replace the example divisor with the rule shown for your selected route.

Hoobuy’s estimator has destination, weight, item category and parcel dimension fields. Use the packed measurements when you have them. Check the unit shown beside the weight field before copying a number from this calculator.

Choose suitable parcel protection

Removing an empty retail box may reduce space, while a fragile item may need extra protection. Decide which packaging matters for the item’s condition and any possible return. Ask for a packing estimate if the final size could change your choice of route.

Combining orders avoids some repeated handling, but a large parcel may enter another size or weight bracket. Compare a combined quote and eligible split quotes with the same service assumptions.

The purchase checkout covers goods and domestic shipping, with any applicable service fee or payment charge. Warehouse extras can be charged between purchase and shipping. The international parcel is paid for separately; read whether its route quote includes destination handling or taxes.

Currency and exchange rates

Compare the CNY purchase amount with the actual debit in your payment currency. The conversion happens when you fund or pay for the order, and the displayed rate may exclude a payment-provider charge. A change in the rate can change the budget before checkout.

For conversion, compare the final debit with the CNY received. An illustrative 80 USD for 500 CNY costs 0.16 USD per CNY. Include payment fees when comparing two options.
