Shopping precautions before you order
Tell Hoobuy the exact contents and the destination country before purchasing anything with batteries, liquids, powders or unusual materials. Include a product link and any known quantity or packaging details.
A product appearing in a catalogue does not mean a route will carry it. Warehouse acceptance and international route acceptance are separate questions.
Also save the selected size and seller’s chart, leave a reserve for international delivery, and ask before accepting a substitute. After warehouse arrival, read the return and storage deadlines while you decide what to ship.
Compare three requirements together
- Hoobuy’s purchasing and handling rules
- Can the agent buy and receive the specific item?
- The selected shipping route
- Does it accept the contents, weight and packed dimensions?
- The destination’s requirements
- Are there import restrictions, documents or taxes relevant to this parcel?
Use current guidance for the receiving country. A successful delivery described by another buyer may involve a different item, value or route.
Provide details that describe the actual parcel
Use an accurate delivery address, contact details, contents and values where the shipping flow asks for them. Do not change an item description to bypass a restriction.
If a carrier or customs office requests a document, check the request through the recognised tracking or support channel and provide what applies to your order.
If no route is available
Ask whether different eligible packaging, a separate parcel or another supported route changes the options. Compare the full cost before deciding. If the item cannot be shipped, ask about returning it while that option is still available.
